MOCAMBO is the Portugese word for "whorehouse", as we have been told.
Fhree very experienced blues musicians from Gouda, Amsterdam, and Philippine (Zeeland) found each other : MOCAMBO BLUES came to life.
Obsessed, passioned and inspired by the music of Stevie Ray Vaughan, MOCAMBO BLUES appeared. During the live-performances sidetrips are made to Jimi Hendrix, Robert Johnson and more big artists from the past century.
You can expect swinging, steaming, stamping and dusty blues when visiting a gig of these 40-ers. Here, fun and humour are clearly number one. The musical quality of the band has reached a very high level.
A virtuose guitar player whose solos are brought to you in a way you can not sit still. You will find Ed, soloing his guitar, on the billiard, behind the bar, even on the bar. He is supported by a tight and permanent accompagniment.
