Last month we had a blast on the road all over Europe we had the honour and pleasure to perform on a string of big European jazz & blues festivals. We played at a.o. Montreux Jazz Festival, Blues Peer, Amal Bluesfest. Jazz à Juan, Olsztyn Blues Nights. During all this travelling and performing we got a lot of idea's for new songs. So in the middle of the tour we went into the studio for two days and recorded a new record.
Right now we are finishing the production and art work of the record which will be titled:
AIN'T GOTTA DIME (CD B&T 034).
Fourteen brand new tracks. All songs were played live in the studio without any overdubs and for most songs the first take turned out to be the best one. We didn't 'polish' or 'fix' anything (like hummin amps or a slightly-out-of-tune harp). This is exactly how we sound live.
We set October 12, 2009 as the official release date but copies will be available at our own web shop long before then. More information and links to listening samples will follow soon.
